Title: Rumors
Presented By: Sunnybank Theatre Group
Genre: Comedy / Farce
Synopsis: At a stylish townhouse in Sneden’s Landing, four high-society couples gather for the 10th wedding anniversary of the Deputy Mayor of New York. But the party takes a chaotic turn when the host is discovered to have shot himself (just a flesh wound!) and his wife is missing. What follows is a whirlwind of miscommunications, lies, physical comedy, and spiralling absurdity as the guests desperately try to hide the situation from each new arrival. With fast-paced dialogue and eccentric characters, Rumors is a masterclass in farcical hilarity by Neil Simon.
