Title: The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical (Theatre for Young Audiences Edition)

Synopsis: When teenager Percy Jackson discovers he’s a demigod, he is thrust into a quest across the United States to find Zeus’ stolen lightning bolt and prevent an all-out war between the gods. Along the way, Percy must navigate monsters, prophecies, betrayal, and his own identity in this 70-minute high-energy, one-act adaptation of the Broadway hit. With a powerful message of self-acceptance and courage, this production is designed especially for young performers and audiences.

Audition Requirements:
Open to all performers aged 8 - 18.
Applicants are encouraged to audition for any role they identify with, regardless of race, gender identity, ability, or background.
Prepare a 90-second cut of a Disney song of your choice. Bring a backing track via phone or USB (aux cable and Apple dongle provided; bring any other required attachments).
Prepare an acting “side” from the show. Found here (memorisation not necessary, but familiarity is encouraged).
If auditioning for Percy Jackson, please learn the last 90 seconds of “Good Kid.”
If auditioning for Annabeth, please learn “My Grand Plan.”

Show Fee: $350 per performer (some scholarships available for families experiencing financial hardship)

Callbacks will be held Sunday evening, 18 May, if required. Not being called back does not mean you haven’t been cast.
