The Stage Buzzie Awards About the Buzzies The Stage Buzzie Awards honour the vibrant creativity of Queensland’s independent and community theatre scene, recognising exceptional productions staged between 1 January and 20 December 2025. The Buzzies recognise work across the broader South-East Queensland region, including: Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Redlands, Logan, Ipswich, Moreton Bay, Redcliffe, Toowoomba, Lockyer Valley, and surrounding areas. Awards Ceremony Date : Wednesday 14 January 2026 Time : 7:00pm Venue : PIP Theatre, Milton The evening will feature live award presentations and performances from nominated artists, highlighting outstanding work from across the year. Independent and community theatre awards will be presented live . Mainstage and professional categories (including QPAC, Queensland Theatre, Queensland Ballet, Opera Queensland, La Boite, etc.) will be announced online to ensure both sectors are recognised.
